-WORST DAY EVER-

Today was my big exciting day to leave for Washington DC. I got up bright and early 5:00am, my ride picked me up and I was on my way. Once I got to the airport things were bad from the beginning. Initially I had purchased a ticket for Noah but since my Mother in law offered to babysit, we canceled his ticket. But, by mistake they canceled my ticket instead! So that took forever to figure out and had me rushing through security to my flight. I arrived right when they should start boarding when they announced over the intercom that the plane had a mechanical problem and they would let us know every 10 minutes what the status was. Well to make a very very long, miserable, $60 later, so annoyed story short... 10 hours went by and I ended up back at home with a flight leaving tomorrow morning. So sad I'm not at My Aunt Gingers house chatting, laughing and hanging out with my mama. Lets hope tomorrow goes better. My Dads friend Roger once said "Shit happens" and this is so appropriate for my very bad day!

I can relate. We recently lived through an airport disaster. It seems to be happening more often. Have fun on your trip!

That is the worst feeling and one I have experienced on more than one occasion unfortunately. But I hope you have fun on your trip and enjoy you time off.
