Ruby got a blessing

Ruby in her blessing dress.  It's 100% dupioni silk.  Carli sewed the skirt, I sewed the top of the dress and bonnet.  She looked like a tiny pioneer! 

She was happy.  

My poor Mom had surgery on her elbows just 2 days before.  Isn't my Mama pretty?

Noah was in time out for throwing rocks at the neighbors shed...

The dress and bonnet.  It was a beautiful day.  We're so blessed to have such a happy, healthy baby.  

Wednesday...

I spent the entire day on this baby, Grandma Halls old Bernina. Which I love by the way. 

  I'm working on a very special dress for my little tiny lady.  My sister came to help and sewed the entire skirt, which saved me at least one whole day - She's the best.
