Today is officially the first day of spring and I am welcoming it with wide open arms. This winter has not been fun at all. It's been hard on all of us. When it's bitter cold, dark and ugly outside we can't help but miss our old home in California. We've complained lots but are trying to find (And focus on) the positives in our new location. So as you can imagine I am very happy about Spring finally arriving. Now I know it's still going to be cold for the next 6 to 8 weeks but I can see the light... warmth is on it's way and I'm so excited.
On a completely different note I'm looking for a new camera.
An SLR to be exact. Dave said I can purchase one as long as I do some research so I know I'm getting a good one.
So darlings... what do you shoot with? Any amazing cameras you're dreaming of? Know of a good one? Please help!

I just got a Nikon D700, which is pretty pricey. It all depends on your budget, but the Nikon D3100 is great and so is the Nikon D90 which has been dropping in price.
I have a canon rebel, and I like it a lot... I think the key to a good camera is learning how to use it in manual mode for sure no matter what camera you get :)
i use a canon but i used to have a nikon and i like them both. so exciting.

From working at Best Buy my experience has been I really like NIkon-- But those who have Cannon Rebels swear by them-- So either way you are making a good choice :) And with catching pictures of the little ones, you are gonna fall in love!! They are AWESOME!!
