Today for breakfast

Noah's been sleeping in lately... like until 10am.  Lets be honest, I love it, I love my mornings all alone (Which won't happen much longer, when I have 2 kids).  So before he wakes, I've been making French toast.  Here's the recipe we've been using:

-Banana French Toast-

4 large eggs
2 T. banana   
1/4 t. cinnamon
4 slices bread


In shallow bowl whisk eggs, banana puree and cinnamon.  Dip the bread.  Coat non-stick skillet with cooking spray and cook. 

I also make my own syrup, It's super easy and makes your meal taste so much better then Aunt Jamima!  You'll need this:


Then mix 1 C. boiling water with 2 cups sugar, 1/4 tsp. Mapleine and viola!  Homemade syrup.  The longer you let it simmer the thicker it gets.  Enjoy :)
