Lost kitty

I'm not sure if I've introduced our kitty on my blog. His name is Meatloaf, he is a total house cat (Meaning he NEVER goes outside), and he has the cutest personality. Yesterday I was cleaning and opened the front door and (Oops) the kitty got out. Later on in the evening I realized I hadn't seen him all day. Dave and I started searching the neighborhood calling "Kitty, kitty"Dave even offered some neighbor kids 20 bucks if they found our cat. Since he never goes out we knew he wouldn't make it long outside in the crazy, cruel world! Dave was heart broken, he seriously loves the cat. Around 8pm Dave decided to check one last time for the night. Noah and I waited home with the doors open hoping Meaty would stroll in. Suddenly Dave came rushing in and said "You gotta see this!" He found the dang cat! He was trapped in our next door neighbors house peeking his head out the window! My first thought was that they stole our cat, then I thought they probably didn't even know he was in there or they wouldn't have locked him in! Nobody was home and I was afraid he would poop on their carpet so I told Dave to see if the window was open. Sure enough it was open, we broke in and got the cat! Dave was screaming "Shoot, shoot" over and over as he freed the kitty and tried to put the screen back in place before they arrived home (We hardly know them so if they caught us it would be really weird). Oh we were laughing so hard. Dave is SO happy to have the cat back and I think Meaty is happy to be back too. What a silly night. Lets hope our neighbors don't blog!

I thought maybe I had found your cat because I have been chasing four different cats around my neighborhood. I want to keep them, but my dreams of owning a cat have been dashed by Skyler's allergies. I am so happy to hear that you found your cat. Awesome story!

When you called me last night to tell me your story i could not stop laughing while in bed. I just hope that no other neighbors were watching you break into that house, I am glad that "eat-oaf" as Preston calls him is back and happy! Some days i wish my cats would disapear for good!

Cute little cat. What a funny story. Its fun to have a little excitement and change of pace, even if its at the cats poor expense. Great story.

that is the funniest story. i love that the possibility of jail time didn't get in the way of taking pictures of the event.

I am so glad you found your kitty! And it makes the story even better that you had to break into your neighbors house.

Chelsy & Dave (Noah & Meatball too!)
I've never done this before, but I have so enjoyed keeping up with the So Cal guys & watching Noah grow! I couldn't resist writing after the Lost Kitty story. That is just too funny. I remember the video of him a while back. Take care and tell dave to call once in awhile!
