Noah's first birthday

Noah turned one, so of course we had to celebrate! Thursday we spent the day at Disneyland and Noah had so much fun! He got a (HUGE) Mr. Incredible balloon, cotton candy, and frozen lemonade. He met Mary Poppins and went on some rides. Saturday was his big "Lakers" party. We had a great turn out and he got lot's of good presents including his own jersey with "Noah Laker" printed on the back! We had a very crooked pinata that I got in down town Santa Ana, I was so proud of myself for using my Spanish skills (Thank you Dave). We played pin the basketball on the hoop, guess how many skittles and how well do you know Noah. Somehow Trey ended up winning almost every game. We got a bounce house for the kiddies and they loved it! One successful party down... many more to go!

It looked like Noah had lots of fun! I am so sad that we could not be there to join in on the Big 1-O! I didn't know that you had a fun house for the kids to play in. How much was that to rent? I think we need one for Reece's or Preston's next Birthday party! Can't wait to see you soon!

Chelsey,
Noah's party was great...the pictures are awesome. I tried to download the one of him with the little basketball, but I can't. Can you email it to me and one of the ones with cake all over his face? He is the cutest boy!!!! And it was a great party....

I LOVE that you had a Lakers party for a 1 year old! That's so adorable! You seriously know how to throw a party! How fun that you can just go right on over to Disneyland too! I wanna live in Southern Cali! Nothing too exciting around here except San Fran...

Glad to see Dave sporting vintage Kobe. My kids still wear Purple and Gold Shaq. Let's just say Kobe wasn't the greatest of role models when Abes was born and I certainly wasn't going to have my daughter supporting his shenanigans so Shaq it was.

Happy birthday buddy! How fun. I loved celebrating Bridget's b-day just a little bit ago. It's crazy how close they are in age. This is going to be a long comment b/c with Brian's fiasco and my craziness trying to handle all of it and having the flu-just to mention a couple things-I have been a bad blogger. Anyway, I LOVED new kids on the block. I had posters all over my room. Then I moved to Utah and Brittney told me that they weren't cool here and that she and all her friends were into the Osmonds. I love, love...Rob and Big. It's so funny. We record it and it's always a guarantee for a good laugh. NYMCN looks like a blast. I would so be there if I lived close by. You get craftier by the minute. How did you modge podge a vase? I have done frames, mirrors...but nothing with too much shape b/c I didn't know how to make it smooth. I never tried it. Maybe it's easier than it seems. I made some really cute ones for Bridget's room that I loved. So does someone go get all the materials or are you all in charge of your own (knowing what you are making in advance) and come with the tools needed??? I need to do something like this. It's such a good break from your everyday life.
