Christmas 2007

Okay I know I have been such a slacker on the blog lately. I couldn't find my parents camera cord and I'll be honest it was kind of nice to take a break. We had such a fun time with my family this Christmas, we were there for almost 3 weeks so it was hard to say goodbye. I must have been a good girl last year because I got some seriously awesome gifts! I got a new Singer sewing machine (thanks guys) with almost 100 stitches and as you can see I have already put it to good use.

I got new clothes, gift cards, new pajamas, picture frames, and my own pink tool kit. Dave got some cowboy boot slippers, Laker tickets, a GPS for his car and sunglasses. Noah got lots of toys and clothes. I actually made almost everybody's gifts this year but couldn't mention what I was doing because it would ruin the surprise! I made 2 blankets, 2 quilts, an apron, 2 pillowcases, a table runner, and a pointy kitty. I don't have pictures of everything I made but I will post the ones I do have. The weather was so cold and I kept thinking to myself "How did I handle this all my life?" I have been spoiled here in Orange County. It does feel good to be back in my own house, I slept so good last night, there is nothing like being in your own bed. Right now we are trying hard to make a decision on where to live after Dave graduates in May. Law school has gone by so fast and we never thought we would be so torn. We are praying for direction and hoping to soon receive an answer.

Carli and I made a quilt for my Mom. I did this side and she did the other in bright blues, purples and browns. We had it stitched and it turned out so cute. She loved it.

I made this one for Heidi. This is before I had it stitched and when I saw it finished, I'll be honest it was so cute! I had such a hard time giving it away. But I knew she would love it.

I made this apron for Keslee. This picture bugs me because the apron needs to be pressed, but it was so easy and quick to make.

And the pointy kitty. I got this pattern from some blog and this was really hard to make! I really hope she just sets it on her shelf and stares at it. I'm worried that if she plays with it the head might fall off!

We had a really great Christmas and hope you did too!

It's so fun to see beautiful wintry Christmas pics. And fun to see your family. I can't believe it is a new year already and you guys have soe major decisions coming up soon! We always say that it doesn't matter where we are as long as we are together. And you have a wonderful husband and baby to be with no matter what adventures life takes you on!
