The chair

So... I was saving the big reveal of my re-upholstered chair until it was completely finished, but Dave decided to brag about it in my Birthday post. Here's the story:

My Mom and I were at DI over the Holiday, I spotted the chair and asked for her advise about the shape and asked if she though I could recover it. She was SO excited that she made me sit in it (So nobody else could claim it) while she ran to get an employee to put a hold tag on it. $25 later, I was the proud owner of a super ugly, pink velvet chair. We immediately went home and started tearing it apart.
5 months later, It's (Almost) completely finished and I'm in love. It turned out better then I could have imagined. Dave said "You should sell that thing" WHAT? Are you freaking kidding me??!! I put so so much blood, sweat, manual labor and tears (Okay maybe not) into that thing I'll never, ever, ever give it up. It makes my living room happy. I'll be honest, I'm pretty proud of myself.

Before
After
Thanks Kev for driving it all the way to Cali for me :)
All I have left to do is glue trim around the edges.
