The Shower

I'm SOOOO excited to meet Danny and Heidi's baby boy. Heidi is going to be such a good (And cute) Mom. The shower was a great success, a big THANK YOU to Sara for all her help!

Snickerdoodles

Tonight I made snickerdoodles. When I put in the flour Noah said "Snow, snow?!" It made me laugh... my Dad would be proud.

SNICKERDOODLES

1C. Butter (Softened)
1 1/5 C. Sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. Cream of tarter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4C. Flour

2Tbsp sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients except for sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. Bake for 6-8 minutes... yum.

My Family is gone and I'm so sad. We had so much fun crafting, eating, watching TV, shopping and just hanging out. Thanks for everything guys!

My Mom

I had such a great Valentines. My Family is here and we were busy with activities all day. First we went to the church and helped arrange roses, then we came home and made suckers (Yum) then we made charms and soldered... oh and we went out for Pizza too. I am so glad I got to spend this holiday with my Family. My Mom is the sweetest most generous person. She packed SO much stuff (Like beads, crystals, sucker molds etc.) all because she knew I would have so much fun making things with them. She also brought me 4 new shirts, lots of stuff for soldering, cinnamon hearts dipped in white chocolate (Which I've been dreaming of but can't find around here), 6 loafs of Grandma Sycamore's bread, and a new kitchen table. Hello... am I lucky or what? A big THANK YOU to my awesome Family for being so generous and fun all the time, I love you guys!

Happy heart day

My Family is coming tomorrow so I'm busy cleaning. DJ (My little bro) is already here but the house doesn't need to be spotless when he arrives cause he can't see it! We're going to hit up Disneyland, go to downtown LA, make homemade suckers and much more. Can't wait.

I had fun today at a baby shower for my girlfriend Shannon. It was at such a beautiful home in Long Beach. So grateful for all my girlfriends.

What?

Over 4 years ago I was hired (In Utah) as a Mac cosmetics freelance artist. I never got called to work until the day before we were moving to California. So obviously that didn't work. Well yesterday my phone rang and it was a manager from the Fashion place mall Mac counter (In Utah) to see if I wanted to work in March for the new store opening. WHAT? I didn't even know I was still an employee! So funny... they must be seriously un-organized to not notice that I've been an employee almost 5 years and never worked. Whatever, it made me laugh.

Isse show

Nicole and I went to the International salon and spa expo in Long Beach yesterday. It was so fun. We purchased lots of stuff we didn't need (And some we did), learned a few new techniques and were inspired by the exhibitors. We also met Tabatha Coffey from "Shear Genius".
