GOOD LUCK DAVE

Today, tomorrow, and the day after. Go Dave! We love you!

Farewell to Grandpa Hall

We sure will miss seeing our Grandpa around. He was 88. He was genius smart, hated cats, and passed away with a full head of hair. He was a sweet and loving man. I am so glad to know he has joined his beautiful wife again and I am grateful for the comfort of knowing I will also see him again someday. The picture above was painted by one of his talented care-givers.

Busy busy

Holy moly are we having fun! So far we have been to the Discovery science center, got pedicures, spent 14 hours at Disneyland WITH dream fast passes (Lucky us!), gone to the beach and shopped for fabric. Today is the OC fair.
On another note UGG just came out with these cute shoes which I think my feet would thank me for after all this walking!

They made it!

I wish...

Check out the gas prices. This was just 5 years ago in Hollywood. I can't imagine what the rest of the country was costing if Hollywood was this low! Sad.

A quick visit

Noah and I took a little visit to the law school the other day to bring Dave some food. I convinced him to let me take a few picture outside the school. It's such a beautiful campus.

Noah walking

video

Finally... A video of him walking. And walking in shoes. He walks with his legs far apart and with his belly out. It's fun having him walk and his knees stay much cleaner now!

Yesterday...

Was the first time I've ever crafted for 12 hours straight. Thats right 12 hours, it was awesome. Sara and I dyed and silk screened shirts for Noah. And I'm not talking "Rit" dye. This is some seriously intense dye, we were wearing aprons, masks, and gigantic gloves which are used for delivering cows! It took us all day. Dave and Kit were studying together and told us they wouldn't be finished until 10pm and we knew that was way too long, we knew would be finished long before then. So we brought our swimsuits just in case we needed something else to do. Boy we were wrong. Our poor kids very deprived of our attention because we just couldn't stop. I even got a mini lecture from Sara's Dad letting me know I need to keep a better eye on my son. We had so much fun and I learned so much about dying and silk screening. Noah left with some totally sweet shirts. Below is just one of our many masterpieces! Rocky.

Longest 3 weeks of my life

Dave is NEVER home. Never. He is busy studying his life away and we are getting bored here! There is only so much sewing and crafting I can do! Luckily Carli is coming next week to help keep us busy! (I can't wait) Yesterday I decided to spend the night at the spectrum. It was nice outside and felt good to be away! I came home with this...

Chenille rug from Urban Outfitters. It is SO soft. I love it and so does the Fam, including Meatloaf. Today we are off to swimming, then to 711 for FREE slurpees, and off to the OC fair. Hopefully keeping this busy will make the next 3 weeks pass fast!

Swimming lessons

I signed Noah up for "Mommy and me" swimming lessons and we started today. He loved it! He smiled and laughed the whole time. We blew bubbles, splashed, tried floating, kicked, jumped and sang songs. Now he's pooped out and sleeping. Looks like it's gonna be a busy week of swimming!

Utah trip

Salmonella

My poor little nephew has salmonella poisoning! He has been SO sick for over a week now and has been in and out of the doctors office trying to figure out what is wrong. We got a scare today saying it was maybe E. coli and the doctor was getting the helicopter ready to life flight him to Primary children's. Turns out the lab made a mistake and it's salmonella. There isn't anything they can do but let it run it's course and give him pain medication. Poor guy, he is definitely in my prayers!
P.S. We think he got it from Sizzler
