A good day

Dave finished his last day of law school on Tuesday! Yay! I can't believe it! We decided to celebrate, so today we went to Dana point and went on a whale watching cruise. It was a blast! We didn't see any whales but we did see lots and lots of dolphins! Noah liked the boat and the dolphins. Him and I both fell asleep on the way back. It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect. Then we topped the day off with delicious tacos from Taco loco in Laguna beach. Yummy. Wait it gets better... when we got home we discovered our orange tree is finally producing! It has teeny tiny oranges all over it! I can't wait to taste them. And I am off to paradise tomorrow, my toes are painted, my swimsuit is waiting, and my bags are packed. I Can't wait.

Quick trip home

I was homesick so I decided to take a quick trip home! I get the royal treatment when I am there so I figured why not? I flew in Thursday morning and didn't tell anyone but Carli so I got to surprise my Mom and Dad, it was great! It was so good to be home and see my Family!

Noah's first birthday

Noah turned one, so of course we had to celebrate! Thursday we spent the day at Disneyland and Noah had so much fun! He got a (HUGE) Mr. Incredible balloon, cotton candy, and frozen lemonade. He met Mary Poppins and went on some rides. Saturday was his big "Lakers" party. We had a great turn out and he got lot's of good presents including his own jersey with "Noah Laker" printed on the back! We had a very crooked pinata that I got in down town Santa Ana, I was so proud of myself for using my Spanish skills (Thank you Dave). We played pin the basketball on the hoop, guess how many skittles and how well do you know Noah. Somehow Trey ended up winning almost every game. We got a bounce house for the kiddies and they loved it! One successful party down... many more to go!

Babysitting adventures

Kelly called me last minute the other day to see if I wanted to get a pedicure. Dave was gone so I called Sheridan to babysit and she accepted. 5 minutes later I was dropping him off and on my way. I was laughing because he doesn't even care if I leave him, he likes anybody who plays with him and makes him laugh! He is such a good boy and such a flirt, all the young women love just him!

Happy birthday Noah

One. It happened so fast. Words can't express how much I love this little guy. He is darling, sweet, silly, fun, and much much more. I am so grateful to have him as my first. We're heading to Disneyland to celebrate! Happy happy birthday little man!

Have you heard?

They're back. I think this is so funny because my sister loved them SO much! I remember one year they came in concert on her birthday. She came home and told me that Joey touched her hand and that she was never going to wash it again, and until this day I don't think she has! Just kidding. They make their big debut on the Today show May 16th. My Family will be in town that weekend so we are totally having a New kids party at my place!

I just realized that I haven't posted any pictures of Noah for such a long time. He is getting so big and is almost one!

Mini fridge

I need a mini in my room. I realized this when I became a nursing mama. I don't know why and I think it's common, but I would get SO thirsty when I was nursing! So when I was waking up every 3 hours to feed my new baby I always dreamed of an ice cold water bottle, not a warm one, therefore I needed a mini. I now need it because Noah has moved onto whole milk. It's the worst when he wakes at 5 am and I have to go all the way downstairs to get his bottle out of the fridge! So not that this would be my number one choice as a birthday gift, (Dave) just thought I would throw the idea out there. I need a mini.

NYMCN

This month for NYMCN (Not your mama's craft night) we did Mod podge. We created lots of stuff. Tea pots (Which I saw similar ones at Anthropologie for $128.00), picture frames, hangers, letters, wipe cases, and bud vases. It was so fun, I didn't get home until 12:30am and I heard some of the girls lasted until 1:40am! Jen and Sara joined in this time, thanks for coming girls!

Rob and big. This show is seriously so funny! Last nights episode had Dave and I rolling. For those of you who missed it or have never watched, put your feet up, take 20 minutes and enjoy. So funny.
