Just another day at the beach

It's complete

It's finished. I am so proud of myself. I thought the binding was going to take me 2 years. I was wrong, it only took a few days. I love the way it turned out, I am very pleased! the only problem is that it's way bigger then I thought it was going to be and it's too big for my wall. Now what do I do? I guess I'm just going to have to lay with it!

A blissful day in Laguna

We went to Laguna and oh my gosh was it nice! The sun was out, the sand was soft and the water was warm. Warm enough that I even put Noah in it, he was a little shocked when the waves came up, but seemed to enjoy it. After we left the beach Noah zonked out, so Dave and I decided to drive around. We like searching for huge houses and as you can imagine, it's not too hard to find them here in the OC. And we found one.P.S. My hair is brown again

Hat boy

Noah and I were bored tonight, so we went to H&M and tried on some sweet hats! He was loving it! His (Big) head is in the 90th percentile...so he was fitting size 9-12 months in these awesome hats. I personally love the pirate bandanna, it makes him look tough!

Happy haircut

Noah got his first haircut yesterday! We did a one guard on the sides and trimmed about 1/2 inch on top! His hair was getting too long on top to stand up, so we decided to cut it! Dave had to hold his head still and Noah didn't like that. But over all Noah did a really good job and he looks so dang cute!

Love it

When I get a house someday, I'm gonna put this on the wall. Isn't it cute?

Our trip to Utah

Saturday, August 11, 2007

We missed out!

So Dave and I (And Noah) drove to Utah today. We arrived around 6:00pm. Around 7:00 we missed a call from Kaylynn Elms who is in our ward, she was offering us FREE Tim McGraw and Faith Hill tickets for tonight! At the Honda center, which is like 10 minutes from our house! Ahhhhh, we are so sad! That could have been really, really fun! But we are happy to be here with my Family and glad that we arrived safe! Who knows, maybe we'll get another offer in the future (When we're in town)! Thanks for thinking of us Kaylynn!

How to decide....

Not quite sure, but I think I might need these in my life.
Or should I get black?

Miss Nancy and Uncle Doug go tanning

So Dave and I are going to Utah on Saturday to babysit Deej and Kes while my parents take a luxurious trip to Cabo. So in preparation....both my parents go tanning now! They said they go quite often for that 8 minute tan and usually they run in at 9:28 when the store closes at 9:30. It just puts the funniest picture in my head! Guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do, can't wait to arrive in Utah to check out those fabulous tans!

Noah can (Kind of) sit up!

As you can see, he LOVES sitting up, he's just not very good at it yet!
He kind of folds in half, he's very flexible!

Wow check out those chunky thighs! He's such a babe!

Another project in the making...

I can't wait to have this little diva witch hanging on my wall this Halloween! She is almost all complete, her purse still needs a handle and the spider hanging from her hat needs his legs! You still have yet to see her fabulous wardrobe, coming soon around the edges! Dave and I stayed up until 1:00am last night working on the letters, Dave did all the lettering! He has good hand writing so I asked him for help and...he did such a good job! He really puts up with all my craftiness pretty well. Yesterday I was up stairs and I heard a "Ahhhhh shoot" from downstairs. I ran down to see what happened and he said "This happened" and pointed to his toe which had a sewing needle sticking out of it! I couldn't help it, I started laughing so hard. But because I was laughing he luckily started laughing too, it was seriously funny, and then I pulled the needle out. Oops! I guess I need to keep better track of where I am leaving (Dropping) things!

My stud muffin nephews

Here is Reece! He is such a little babe! Only 4 weeks old and is growing so fast! I think he is going to out grow his big brother someday!

Here is Preston, oh I mean captain Jack Sparrow! Watch out for the scary pirate! Aarrrggghhh!

I just LOVE my little guys! Preston seriously has the cutest personality! Sometimes he is a little stinker and his Mom wants to send him off to aunt Cha for a week or two! I miss these little guys but will see them again in August! Yeah!

Dave and I went to the San Diego temple with the young women and men on Wednesday. It is such a beautiful temple! It was kind of a long trip, the girls (And Noah) were pooped out by the end...as you can see.

A little Noah

Bath time!

Tummy time!

He loves rice cereal but it gets ALL over him!

I just love this little guy so much! He gets cuter everyday! He is such a sweet baby, I am so glad he is mine!

Our anniversary celebration

Dave took me to Palm Springs for our anniversary. We went on the "Palm Springs tram" It took us about 10,000 feet up, and it took us up really fast! It was so beautiful at the top and the air was nice and fresh!

After the tram, Dave took me to "LG's" California's #1 steakhouse. Oh it was SO good! This is me with my delicious, world famous Caesar salad...yum.
Dave with his huge steak, which he loved so much, he moaned every time he took a bite.

There was such a beautiful sunset on the way home!
Thanks so much for such a wonderful anniversary Dave!
