Disneyland

We LOVE Disneyland! And lucky for me so does my family, which is why they bought season passes and come down to visit every other month! We went to Disneyland for 2 days this time, it was so fun and hot! We went on the river rapids ride at California adventure and we laughed so hard! We all got soaked! We stayed for the lights parade and fireworks. We ate corn dogs, churros, and frozen lemonade. I guess we just love Disneyland so much because it's the happiest place in the world!

This is us with the "Wicked witch"

Ok this was so much fun! I went to Wicked with Keslee and my parents,(Dave stayed home with Noah, he didn't want to go). The actors in this play are SO amazing! I wish I could sing like them! The story is so darling and fun to watch! If you have the chance to see it...do it, you will love it! Jenny and I have plans do see it again sometime this fall!

A day at the beach with friends and family

We have a tradition where we get together with Ryan and Jen every other Saturday and go to the beach. It was our week to choose where we go and we chose Corona Del Mar. And also, lucky us my family was here to join us! It was such a blast! We caught SO many sand crabs, I swear like 200. Keslee is scared of them and Dave was teasing her and put one on her head, she started crying. Poor girl, but it was a beautiful day and we had so much fun! We had ice cold Coke and fruit roll-up's, what could be better? We love the beach!

One project down

While Noah took his nap today I was able to get this quilt finished, it matches my house, brown and orange, now it just needs to be stitched! And Noah woke up so happy!

Arches

Lindsay, Shanna, Sara, Mindy, Chelsea, Me and Charee

Dave and I were cleaning out some boxes last night when I came across this picture.
It's a little beat up but I think you can still see who is in it. Do you remeber the night when Charee was talking in her sleep and that (Crazy) lady from another camp came over and screamed at us for being too loud? What a fun trip, if only we could all get together and do it now!

Concerts, beaches and barbeques

I know, I have been slacking on the postings lately. But I have been pretty busy! We took a trip to Santa Maria to visit our friends Cameron and Rachel. While there we went to the Santa Barbara county fair and saw Josh Gracin in concert. It was so fun. While there Noah saw his first pig and dicovered his hand, Dave got a closer look at his dream truck and I got the yummiest cookie recipe from Rachel. We went to Corona del mar and Manhattan beach and both were so beautiful. Then last Sunday we had a barbeque with Ryan, Jen, Rory and Mike. We played phase ten and there is always lots of laughter when we play that game!

Our 4th celebration

We went to Huntington Beach to celebrate the fourth. We had breakfast at The Filling Station, which just started the day off so good. Then we headed to Hb. There were so many people there that we drove around for 45 minutes before we found a parking space. That was kind of a joke. We walked around the shops and saw some crazy people! I saw a few different guys riding their bikes backwards, and a guy with a huge iguana on his arm riding his bike. Our friends Kelly and Jeff invited us to their parents house for dinner, they live just a few blocks from the water. We had dinner there and then walked to the beach to see the fireworks. It was a great day and I am so thankful to live in a free country!

While visiting Utah one of my wishes was to go to the fabric store and pick out a few projects. Lucky for me, Carli and my Mom were up for the trip. We went to a few different places and found alot of really cute fabrics and patterns. I left with some projects to keep me busy through the summer. I started one today and will keep my progress posted. I've got my fingers crossed that they all turn out successful! And thanks Car and Mom for all your help, I couldn't have done it without you!

Go T-Birds

Fight on you Thunderbirds wherever you may be...
I just couldn't resist these orange and blue dish
towels. what can I say? T-bird for life!

Missed the memo

Pretty sure I could have used this
little dress yesterday. Every girl I
saw riding her bike was wearing a
cute little summer dress. Guess I
missed the memo and threw on a
pair of shorts!
